Why the Psalms? Jesus died with a psalm on his lips, and for millennia, these sacred songs have shaped the faith and prayers of believers. Before the Nazis banned him from publishing, German theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer wrote a profound reflection on the Psalms, emphasizing their role in thanksgiving, suffering, guilt, praise, and lament.
This study will deepen your understanding of how the Psalms can strengthen and guide your faith, just as they did for Bonhoeffer and generations before us.
Copies of the book are available in the church library for a donation of $10.
